Effective Date: March 18, 2026

Last Updated: March 18, 2026

1. Overview

MarketingAid Solutions FL, LLC (“MarketingAid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) integrates with Google Calendar to help you sync appointments and manage your business calendar. This policy explains how we handle your Google Calendar data, what we can and cannot access, and your rights with respect to that data.

This policy applies exclusively to MarketingAid’s use of the Google Calendar API and data obtained through that integration. It supplements our main Privacy Policy and Terms of Service and should be read in conjunction with those documents. In the event of any conflict between this policy and our Privacy Policy or Terms of Service, this policy governs solely with respect to Google Calendar data and the Google Calendar API.

2. What Data We Access

When you authorize MarketingAid to connect to your Google Calendar account, you grant us permission to access the Google Calendar API scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar. Under this scope, MarketingAid can:

Read Access

— Your calendar events (titles, descriptions, dates, times, attendees, location)

— Free/busy information (time blocks when you are available or busy)

— Calendar settings and metadata (time zone, calendar name, calendar color)

— Event details necessary to prevent double-booking (existing commitments, event duration)

Write Access

— Appointment confirmations synced from your MarketingAid booking system

— Booking details (customer name, service type, appointment time, confirmation status)

— Automated appointment reminders and updates

Create Access

— A dedicated calendar in your Google Calendar account (typically titled “MarketingAid Appointments”) exclusively for syncing appointments booked through MarketingAid

— Calendar events representing confirmed bookings from your customers

3. What Data We Do NOT Access

MarketingAid explicitly does not request, access, or have any capability to access:

— Your Gmail inbox or email messages

— Your Google Drive files or documents

— Your Google Contacts or contact information

— Your Google Photos or media library

— Your personal information stored in other Google services

— Calendars other than those you explicitly connect to MarketingAid

— Any data from other third-party applications or integrations in your Google account

4. How We Use Your Calendar Data

MarketingAid uses calendar data solely to provide the appointment synchronization features you have elected to use. Specifically, we use your data to:

Core Functionality

— Display your availability to customers who are booking appointments through your MarketingAid website or booking interface

— Sync confirmed appointments directly into your Google Calendar to keep your calendar up-to-date

— Read your existing calendar commitments to prevent double-booking of appointments

— Send you appointment reminders and status updates

Technical Operations

— Troubleshoot technical issues or malfunctions with the appointment sync feature (e.g., investigating why an appointment didn’t sync)

— Monitor system performance and reliability

— Detect and fix bugs in the calendar integration

Security & Compliance

— Investigate and respond to suspected security incidents or unauthorized access

— Comply with valid legal demands, court orders, or regulatory requirements

5. What We Do NOT Do With Your Calendar Data

We have made explicit commitments about how we will NOT use your calendar data:

— We do not sell, rent, license, or commercially exploit your calendar data for any monetary consideration

— We do not share your calendar data with third-party marketing firms, analytics companies, or data brokers

— We do not use your calendar data for advertising, marketing campaigns, or lead generation

— We do not analyze your calendar data to create insights, trends, or benchmarks for sale or distribution to third parties

— We do not combine your calendar data with data from other sources to build profiles about you

— We do not share your calendar data with MarketingAid employees except as necessary for technical support or security investigations

— We do not export, print, or otherwise remove your calendar data from our systems except as required by law or as part of legitimate backup/archival procedures

6. Data Retention & Deletion

How Long We Keep Your Data

MarketingAid retains calendar data accessed through the Google Calendar API only for as long as necessary to provide the Services:

During Active Use: While your subscription is active and you have the Google Calendar integration enabled, we retain calendar data in our active systems

After Disconnection: If you disconnect your Google Calendar integration or revoke authorization, we delete all cached and stored calendar data within thirty (30) days

Backup Systems: Residual copies in automated backup or archival systems are deleted in the ordinary course of our standard backup rotation cycle, in no event exceeding ninety (90) days from disconnection

Legal Holds & Compliance

We may retain calendar data beyond the standard deletion timelines if:

— Retention is required by applicable law, a court order, or regulatory requirement

— There is an active legal hold related to litigation or a regulatory investigation

— We are cooperating with law enforcement or a government authority

Your Calendar Remains Yours

Important: Appointment entries that MarketingAid previously wrote to your Google Calendar account remain in your Google Calendar account after disconnection. You own these entries and must manually delete them from your Google Calendar if you wish to remove them. MarketingAid does not have the ability to delete entries from your account after disconnection.

7. Revoking Access & Disconnection

How to Disconnect

You can revoke MarketingAid’s access to your Google Calendar at any time using either method:

Method 1 — Through MarketingAid: Log into your MarketingAid account, go to Account Settings, select “Manage Connections,” and click “Disconnect Google Calendar.” Your authorization will be revoked immediately.

Method 2 — Through Google: Visit your Google Account security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, find “MarketingAid,” and click “Remove Access.” This revokes MarketingAid’s authorization immediately.

What Happens After Disconnection

Upon successful disconnection:

— MarketingAid immediately stops accessing your calendar data

— No new appointment syncs will occur

— We will delete all cached calendar data within 30 days

— Existing appointments already written to your Google Calendar remain in your account (you must delete them manually if desired)

— Your MarketingAid appointment booking system continues to function — only the Google Calendar sync feature is disabled

8. Your Privacy Rights

Data Subject Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain legal rights with respect to your calendar data:

Right to Know: You have the right to request disclosure of what calendar data MarketingAid holds and how it is used.

Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of your calendar data, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Right to Correct: If any calendar data stored by MarketingAid is inaccurate, you can request correction.

Right to Restrict: You can request that MarketingAid restrict its use of your calendar data.

Right to Portability: You can request a copy of your calendar data in a portable format.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the above rights with respect to your Google Calendar data, submit a written request to [email protected] with the subject line “Google Calendar Data Request.” Please describe your request clearly and include sufficient information to verify your identity. We will respond within thirty (30) to forty-five (45) days, or within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Google’s Privacy & Our Limitations

Google Controls Google’s Systems

— Obtain your affirmative consent before any expanded access is requested

— Allow you to continue using the Services at the current scope level if you do not consent to expanded access (provided this does not materially impact core functionality)
